This has been gonig on for a long time now. Their argument is that the lyrics themselves are copyrighted and therefore posting the lyrics constitutes copyright infringement.

This fvcking sucks! I use Powertabs for all of my guita purposes, and now I have no where to go!

What assholes. Do they think really poor transpositions of a guitar parts are going to kill the sheet music industry? How are people supposed to learn to play guitar now? Good thing I grabbed the entire mysongbook.com archive for GuitarPro a week or so ago. MIDI sites are next.

Shutting down all guitar tab sites is insane. The only problem is that some people copy a tab straight from a purchased sheet music/tab book and post that online which I would guess is illegal.
