That scene in the preview where he is deflecting a missle with what looks like a cookie sheet seems lame. Think I am going to wait for the dvd/vcd

She is not a chinese porn star :slap:

Actually, she is one of the more well known actress in Taiwan & HK.

Yes, she did do cheap B budget softcore films early on in her career (like many young chinese actress did earlier in their careers).
But she is not a pornstar lol

She did the equivalent of skinemax movies when she first started out. She started doing the Young and Dangerous movies after that and I think that's what got her famous in chinese movies. She was also in Gorgeous with Jackie Chan and the Stormriders. I hated her voice in Young and Dangerous though. She has this sort of whiny little girl voice.

as stated, she is a porn star.. well more accurately, was.. she does other movies now.. and to my knowledge, she doesn't do porn anymore..

oh, and by the way, don't use oriental.. i'd rather have someone call me a beloved patriot than an oriental

She did soft porn before becoming famous.. almost all Chinese movie stars go thru the same path. Oh and yeah, do NOT use the word "oriental" to describe a person. It's a very condescending word to use.. since it's supposed to be used with items, not person. It's just as bad as calling an black person by the "n" word.

actually i think it's worse than the n word.. when people use the n-word or say beloved patriot or something, they're purposely trying to insult and hurt you.. but when they call me an oriental, that just shows me their ignorance, and it makes me sad how many stupid ignorant people there are in this word... no offense supercyrix.. i'm sure you didn't know, and won't use the word anymore

Usage Note: Asian is now strongly preferred in place of Oriental for persons native to Asia or descended from an Asian people. The usual objection to Orientalmeaning ?eastern?is that it identifies Asian countries and peoples in terms of their location relative to Europe. However, this objection is not generally made of other Eurocentric terms such as Near and Middle Eastern. The real problem with Oriental is more likely its connotations stemming from an earlier era when Europeans viewed the regions east of the Mediterranean as exotic lands full of romance and intrigue, the home of despotic empires and inscrutable customs. At the least these associations can give Oriental a dated feel, and as a noun in contemporary contexts (as in the first Oriental to be elected from the district) it is now widely taken to be offensive. However, Oriental should not be thought of as an ethnic slur to be avoided in all situations. As with Asiatic, its use other than as an ethnonym, in phrases such as Oriental cuisine or Oriental medicine, is not usually considered objectionable.

IMO, Asian is wrong, because the connotation excludes Indians and other South Asians, even though they live in Asia!

i'm oriental and i don't give a crap about being called that. and frankly, people that do, are too sensitive. seriously asian people that get pissy with oriental would probably be the people getting upset at indian mascots if they were native american. bunch of retards.

Yeah, whats the big deal big deal with the term oriental??
Usually when I hear "asian" I think of far east asians (japanese, korean, chinese) and not south east and indians, etc...maybe is just me
