I just have a plain old white/darkgrey Microsoft optical mouse. I need a new one, because the pointer likes to take off on its own while I'm browsing or playing a game or whatever.

What kind do you use?

Trackpad, stylus, logitec optical, kensington optical wireless for the Mac, and a couple of others some days.

Logitech wireless laser. A major upgrade on the Logitech wireless optical I had earlier. Before that was a MS wired Explorer. Waiting for a gaming quality laser. This one is pretty good, but not the absolutely best. I'll wait for the next must-have mouse by Logitech.

I've got the Logitech MX510 at home, and some terrible generic optical mouse at work.

Right now I'm using Microsoft IntelliMouse Explorer 2.0. I got it for ~$12 at Staples a couple of months ago.

I'm still using the original Microsoft Intellieye Explorer that I purchased in 2000.

Logitech MX-510. Best mouse I've ever had the pleasure of using.

Only problem is, now i cant blame all my deaths in CS-Source on dodgy hardware :)

MX-1000, its heavy, comfortable, and extremely accurate. The only problem is that the "side-to-side" scrolling of the wheel button has never worked (software related).
