I didnt think any one song could steal the throne from the famous Three Doors Down Song, but I seriously think Green Day's Boulevard of Broken Dreams song has taken the cake. It's a good song, but my god, I must hear 2 or 3 times every day, when I'm in the weightroom with the radio on for an hour. Now if I ever buy the American Idiot CD, I'll probably have to skip that track just because I'm so sick of it. Good job radio stations.

everything on the radio is overplayed... I just thank the lord that I don't have the radio-only Accord anymore or the fact that Simple Plan isn't among top circulation anymore. G'damn... everytime I heard them I felt like hitting someone.

When I worked in a clothing store, I almost had to puncture my eardrums with knitting needles from hearing that damn Butterfly Kisses song multiple times every day since they had it on a soft rock/easy listening station.

And it's actually just a Pop-Rock'd cover of the original 'The Boulevard of Broken Dreams' by Marianne Faithfull from her album 'Strange Weather' released in the early 90s. Which, to be honest, is a tough song to listen to. She has the voice of a 70 year old chain smoker. Instrumentals are good though.

Really? I didnt know it was a cover. Marianne Faithfull sang on Metallica's "The Memory Remains," and yeah, she sounds lke a frog.

Her guest vocals on that Metallica song made me hate it even more.

Seconded!

I remember when they played that Oasis mix for about a week, I breathed a little easier, for I thought that it was on its way down.

Boy, was I wrong.

Haven't listened to FM in years. I only listen to KCBS news and KNBR when Gmen are playing.

Yeah, we have the radio on in the hallway at our schools. WTF do people have to like Green Day so bad? First it was American Idiot, then Bloulevard of Broken Dreams, and now that Holiday song is starting up too much. Stupid #1 songs. :|
