What's the most expensive single item you have purchased besides a house or car (usually most expensive for everyone)?

Computers as a whole only count if purchased pre-built (no self builts since they're more than one item purchase), otherwise pick the most expensive part if applicable ...




I think mine is my stereo receiver which was like $600 when I got it


 
Commercial fishing boat. worth about $35,000 plus about $10,000 in liscenses and about another $12,000 in permanent equipment that is not easily removed.

note: the bank still own a good chunk of it all.
 
If computer monitors count then my Viewsonic P95f for $300.

If not, then my Calculus book for $95. I try to live well within my means.
