i was in my computer science class today... paying attention and being a good student and then out of nowhere i fell asleep in class... I was sooo tired this morning, i guess my body just kinda gave out on me. So anyway, i was in a deep sleep and didnt wake up until about 2-3 minutes after class was over and the professor came up to me and said "danny, you can leave now"

i was soooo embarresed, i thought i was going to die.

Reminds me of a time I walked into English class in high school and a dude was sleeping from the class before mine. The teacher was cool and thought it would be funny to have him wake up and see different people. It was.
 
haha... sorry for laughing, but it was funny...

It's not that bad actually, I have seen a lot of ppl fall asleep AND snore during a lecture... 🙂

Did u explain your situation to the professor? I'm sure he would understand and have no hard feelings towards you...

Maybe he had morning wood and couldn't get up right away.
 
Reminds me of the time when I was in High School a few years ago. I was up at like 4 in the morning to help prepare the school during our class's turn with the war against the classes. so, it was right after lunch when my class was piano, and of course i fell asleep. the teacher was pretty cool but he decided to play a practical joke on me. he got everyone out of the classroom and then woke me up telling me that class was over. i looked around and of course everyone was gone and i was all confused since i just woke up. then suddenly everyone came in the room laughing. 😱
 
At least the professor came and woke you up. I have walked into a lecture hall after another class had just left and people were still sleeping. It's great to see them wake up in the middle of some other class and be completely clueless.
 
I fell asleep once in a philosphy class, and the teacher announced in front of class that if I ever fell asleep again he would kick me out and fail me... Luckily I didn't fall asleep again in his class.
 
OMG, you gotta be kiding me. I'm not trying to give myslef a "bad boy" impression, b/c actually i was a pretty good student. But i slept in almost every class i ever had. I never thought twice about it. 😕

i try not to do that anymore, my subconscious eventually kicks in with your not supposed to be asleep, my body snaps to attention and i ussually knock my book off my desk or somethiung. not kewl🙂

This guy next to me in class had his eyes wide open and staring straight ahead. I noticed he wasn't blinking... couple seconds later he let out a huge snore. His eyes were still open and he didn't start laughing, and he didn't snap out of it until many snores after. People who sleep with their eyes open scre the crap outta me.

my Chem. TF last semester kicked me out of discussion because I fell asleep.

I had been up till 6am writing a paper for my 10am class. it sucked
 
in high school i used to get baked before school. i'd fall asleep in first period english all the time.

i think the worst thing that ever happened to me was when i farted in gym class doing situps. it was no ordinary fart, it was a sonic boom. everyone laughed their asses off, except the kid next to me. he was down wind. not good. 🙂

 
I used to have teacher in highschool who would make anyone who fell asleep in class stand on their desks. His reasoning was 'If they fall asleep standing up, they won't be in a hurry to do it again'.
Needless to say, very few people fell asleep in his class.
 
Hell, this guy in my class ripped a huge fart as the teacher was lecturing. This is at college, and everybody (including the teacher) just busted out and started laughing. I mean, this dood must have dropped a few loads in his pants. Yes, it was that loud.....heh
 
you know how when you fall asleep in class you'll wake up with a jolt? Well my friend woke up with a huge jolt that sent his books, notebooks, and backpack flying down 6 rows in front of him in a huge 500 person lecture hall. He said it was the single most embarassing moment of his life.
 
the best is the head bob. i had a prof stop class to have us all watch this kid doing the head bob, and he opened his eyes after a really big one, and we were all staring at him and started laughing. he was pretty embarassed.

same; its always super embarassing when u like knock over ur enormous ti calculator and it clatters on the ground..
 
couple years ago this kid fell asleep in a car in my school's autoshop. he was out cold, and the car was parked over the lift. well you can imagine the rest lol. the car was as high as it could go before he woke up. that was pretty funny.
