I'd like to schedule an interview with you. I'm in GMT+7, and am available at 4:00-16:00GMT. Is this time okay for you? Can we talk at Monday, Jul 21, 4am GMT ?

So if I get this right, since I'm on pacific time, it's about ~8 hours behind GMT, right?

I don't see what's confusing about using GMT offsets. I'm GMT+6. Pacific is GMT+8.

What I do find odd are their available hours... they're in the office that long?

do not screw this up

There was a time zone difference in one of my past interviews, for some reason, I screwed up by being late by an hour and I got dinged afterwards because of this reason.
It was one of the best opportunities for an entry level job out of college for me and I felt like crap for a week afterwards

+8 meaning 8 hours ahead, or +8 meaning 8 hours behind?

I was confused about Arizona -- you're saying you're on "Pacific" because you're currently the same time as Pacific Daylight, but during the winter you're on Mountain because you're the same time as Mountain Standard?

So you're GMT -7, so 4am GMT would be 9PM the night before.

The link So put up there says the same thing, 9:00PM.

8 hours behind would be -8, not +8.

EST is GMT-5, PST is GMT-8, not +8. You're on daylight saving time though unless you're in Arizona, so it's GMT-7.

If he's in GMT+7, then he's in, like, Cambodia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UTC%2B7

I happen to be in Arizona :)

So according to me, this would be 8:00 PM Sunday night - correct?

M, when are you going to Cali? Are you still in Northern AZ?
