I was gonna ask what's that awesome music playing in the background, and then I realized The Witcher 2 was still open on my computer.

Made his answer all the more epic lol.

Two thumbs up. The universe is an awesome, astounding place. I'm just sad that I'll never get to see much of it. I hope against hope that my children's children will.

Yes he is.. I'd say he is one of the few people who can credibly be considered a successor to Carl Sagan.

Yep. With the sad level of science education in the US and the amazing numbers of ignoramuses who believe in garbage like creationism, anti-vaccine conspiracy and alternative medicine it's nice to see someone promoting an interest in science.

This is information that I knew, but NDT has an eloquence in saying it that brings Carl Sagan to mind. Very cool.

Everyone who's ever used psilocybin knows this.

Completely agree, especially if you are lucky enough to have your trip in an area with no light pollution. Just a small breathing camp fire, the stars, close friends. OK, now I'm weeping.

I've always thought this was amazing. That we're the product of stars blowing up over the course of billions of years and that other parts of those stars reside all over the galaxy/universe. But cool to reinforce for others nonetheless.
