Came here looking for something like this. There are more ads, they're bigger and take longer to load, but worst of all they do annoying crap like this. And on my device (Note 3) they center themselves on my screen when scrolling down.

Probably gonna root and use an ad blocker now. I didn't care about the ads when they were smaller and less pervasive...

Ads are what generate revenue, and revenue is why Purch bought this place. Be happy it wasn't vertical scope, they buy forums, stuff every square inch with ads, then ignore them to death.
While I'm on the topic of ads, who the hell buys boner pills from China?

Need something less intrusive than an overlay. That thing blinks all over the place when I'm scrolling. Good way to drive away members (and revenue).

Anyway, I'd actually pay a small fee to use this place without ads. It's a huge problem on my mobile devices.

I whitelisted this site from the ad blockers (and still do on the desktop browser). As mentioned though the mobile ones are intrusive enough that I keep them blocked on my phone.

I was fine with the banner ads on mobile. Get rid of the annoying one mentioned in the OP and I'll happily disable blocking on my phone. Or at least make it so it doesn't center itself on my screen and block all content behind it.

The floating banner appears intermittently on both of my iOS devices (iPhone 6 Plus and iPad mini 2, both running iOS 8.2).

I'm getting overlay ads. Just got a straight talk one. Ipad using safari.

Ad dimensions have doubled in size at the top of forums. In mobile they are pushing my forum view down half the screen.
