I just witnessed something rather disgusting..

In this thread about the best soap, http://forums.anandtech.com/messageview.cfm?catid=38&threadid=672811, the second post from the top implied that the first poster was 'gay' because he/she prefered 'Dove' soap. Along comes the omnicent moderator and deftly realigns the words for the same effect, just directed to another person.

Thats pretty weak stuff..

It happens around here.

The Moderators do an excellent job of keeping a very large forum with strict rules in check.

However, what you see before you does happen. If the mods want to make a joke, they do so 😕

My guess is that the mod was trying to joke around, not hurt or offend anyone. It just turned out badly is all.

You needn't worry about a Death Wish. Your comment has been noted and probably will be talked about among the Moderators. Keep in mind that we are just members too and sometimes we might error or say something that we shouldn't have. We try to keep it at a minimum but we are far from perfect. Let me assure you though that when a member such as yourself posts a complaint in the fashion in which you have we will take notice. Let me also assure you that you are not marked as a troublemaker.. unlike our friend Red Dawn🙂

Sometimes Mods poke fun at other users. If it's out of line, they fix it. I think you're overreacting.
 
Agreed that the Mods should 'fix' things, as you put it Azraele 🙂

However, to be honest I dont think the mods should poke fun at other users as they should be setting an example...
