The milk has a Nov 19 "sell by" date. Do I drink it?

It doesn't seem curdled or anything, and seems to smell fine. I just don't want to be puking today.

should be ok, milk will last 4-5 days if your fridge is cold enough. bt i don't suggest drinking it any later

OK. I don't know why they put a "sell by" date instead of a "drink by" date like everything else. It makes no sense. I blame the Jews.

Milk is generally good for about a week after the sell-by date.
Depending on the conditions of your fridge and the fat content of the milk, it may last longer.
Nonfat milk in a really cold fridge can last WELL past a week.

I have some July 20 milk in the fridge....ya wanna drink that? It's unopened, should be good still.....😉

If it tastes fine, drink it.

sour milk doesnt hurt you anyways.. not like it suddenly turns to poison. it just tastes like ass.

I would be worried if my ass tasted like sour milk, but I don't know how I would find out what it tasted like.

I would throw it out.

The "out of date" is printed on the carton for a safety reason ya know!

If it smells okay, it's fine.

You do realize that when something passes it's "sell by" date, they just remove it from the store shelves, and give it to the local food banks, right? 😛

no way! throw it away

or use it to bake something, use it for cooking something like mac/cheese

but don't drink it!!

Think of the starving calves... you have an obligation to drink it all!!! 🙂

But seriously, the nose knows if it's OK or not. And if your nose fails then there's always the gag reflex as a fallback.
