I'm a fan of MS because of their tremendous support of the developer community, but it is exciting to see their consumer stuff really making a splash. Bing continues to grow (although I stopped using it because most of the cool features aren't available in my country) and the Zune HD is very nice. Windows 7 is hands down the best OS I've used, I've had both of my PCs on various versions since the first beta (and finally have legal retail versions of Pro on both).

Please explain why you think IE8 is garbage. They've fixed and enhanced nearly every problem that IE7 had and then some.
I have IE8 on my work computer and I refuse to put it on any other computer until numerous problems are fixed.

1) Half of the important websites won't work on IE8. True, it isn't Microsoft's problem, but it is quite annoying.

2) About 1/3rd of the time that I click on a link the entire IE8 goes down. I really like the feature to reload all of your tabs when you restart IE8, but I shouldn't have to use that feature every 10 minutes!

I am anticipating Windows 7 (waiting to get a new computer until it is released).

When Google gives me hundreds of $$ in cash back...then come back and tell me that. :p

I'm willing to sympathize with IE haters to some degree - I don't use it because I find it slow, and there are known rendering problems. But if half of the internet isn't working and one third of clicks causes a crash then either you're doing something very wrong or there's something very broken on your system.
