I don't think that anyone should be surprised. After coming through in the first game Barry Bonds really disappeared like he always has. I heard that he is now tied for 1st in playoff games played without a World Series appearance. That must really hurt.

Then again the Giants' 1 playoff win in the last 10 years is 1 more than my Dodgers have .

Anyone see during the celebration the signs they made? One said "Cards: Your Next". That's Mets fans for you, can spend 20 minutes making a damn poster yet cannot realize their spelling mistake throughout the process.

BTW, anyone see the sign they made for Rocker? It said "Hey Rocker: You're Ingnorant". It was on Leno, that's how I saw it.

And with the Cards home field advantage on Wednesday, might as well make it 2-0 for the first 2 games.

Red, I grew up in Northern California, and I think I'm always going to root for the Giants - no matter how much they choke. I'm still hoping for another Battle of the Bay...someday... Anyway, yeah, that young A's team is fantastic! They've got me rooting for them, and I've always disliked American League teams.
