Looks like the child that resulted from an HTC Evo 4G and iPhone 4 sexcapade.

Any bets on whether or not Apple will try to get it blocked from the Chinese (or any other) market? I'm betting they won't, only because it won't be a threat to them.

Apple have sued many companies, some are threats and some aren't. As for the device, it looks like an iPhone, and they probably aren't hiding from that fact.

Most that they have sued are threats to Apple, not "some are some aren't".

Suing a Chinese company in China? Yeah, that would get far.

So? If they're really interested in pursuing infringements on their intellectual property they should do anything and everything to stop such infringements, whether they're successful or not.

In this case they're probably not going to bother doing anything, but only because this device/company isn't a threat to them.

Even Apple isn't crazy enough to sue over that in China. Were it sold elsewhere, it'd be another story.

Actually that's what it means. Some are threats and some aren't. I don't see how that changes the fact that Apple have sued non threats before.

They can only sue if they have patents in China. I couldn't see China allowing a US company to buy patents over there.

Your statement implies that it is more evenly split between threats and non-threats. The facts do not resemble that.

Well your statement implies that Apple doesn't sue non threats at all, which is farther from the truth.

What happened to the Quad core version? It was never supposed a dual core version AT all.
