I was kind of more excited before seeing the trailer.

I really don't know WTF it is about watching the trailer.

Also looks like they are trying to recreate a lot of scenes/moments from the first movie.

Seems like a rehash of the first 3 films.

The plot looks the same. Say want you want about the third but it had an ending. This seems like a cash grab.

No Morpheus (Laurence Fishburne). :(

I hope they bring back Persephone. ;)

I still enjoy all three original Matrix movies, don't have any particular expectations for this sequel one way or the other, and will watch it eventually I'm sure.

Yeah, I don't have high expectations for this, the Wachowskis haven't managed to replicate the success of the original Matrix in any of their other movies.

I just hope it's not some dream or virtual reality in the machine world. It must be something weird since Trinity is still 'alive'.

Umm you are going to be able to stream it on HBO Max the day it's in the theater.

I know, and I have HBOMax. I know Dune will be a movie that I want to see on the big screen, not just my 65" 3.1 system . Plus I want to help boost the box office so they make the damn second Dune movie. So stupid how they are doing it because the first movie suffers since it's not really a complete story, and most people won't know it's really just a half a movie.

Dune I'll go see in the theatre. This I'll wait till I can stream it at home.

I was going to wait until Top Gun: Maverick came out in theaters to go back, but since they keep pushing back it's release date...

Hollywood might be dead before THAT picture gets shown in a theater.

This movie represents everything wrong with Hollywood these days.

I will most likely stream it at some point but won't be in any rush.

THAT is the first movie in recent memory that I really want to see at a full-size IMAX theater. (not the econo-version in the majority of theaters)

I never understood the hate directed at the Matrix sequels, I thought Reloaded and Revolutions expanded on the ideas from the original in exciting and interesting ways. “White Rabbit” really set the tone for this trailer, yes some of the visuals echo the original, but I haven’t been this excited about a movie since Rogue One. Jonathan Groff is giving off an architect vibe. The only think that would have made this trailer perfect would have been a voiceover at the end from Agent Smith, “we meet again Mr. Anderson”. Will definitely be seeing this one in the theaters.

Shang-Chi broke the Labor Day weekend record. Paramount needs to form a search party for their testicles.

I for one am excited. Considering every one of the movies subverted my expectations of what they'd be or how they'd end, I'm going to go out on a limb and hope that the references are more fan service/homage to the original rather than an indicator of it being a blatant retread of the original. The biggest thing I'm wary about is them going with the matrix MMO storyline where Morpheous dies and Neo is plugged back into the matrix by the machines with no memory and a female body.

Finally watched the trailer just now .... omg this looks freaking terrible!

o_O

What an absolute joke.... the chance of me spending one thin dime to see this steaming pile are literally a negative number. (Fishburne et all evidently refused to participate because they care about their careers!)

Sucks that Hollywood is apparently now 100% bereft of creativity.

The movie sucks big time. WB was originally going to have this written by a Marvel writer but then Lana jumped in to mangle it beyond anything remotely resembling a decent flick. Appalling is the only word to describe it. People who seem to have enjoyed it apparently have some undiagnosed cognitive disabilities.

It was a really, really, bizarre movie. It kinda felt like the whole movie was just trolling?
