I luved it!
Looks like this thread is following the path beaten by all the other threads (including the Maddox link, that's nothing new). So far we have someone who didn't like it, someone who hasn't seen it yet, someone who has seen it and thought it rocked, and someone who felt they would speculate, like so many before them, on some aspect of the movie intentionally left vague.

no, it's not just you. but is this supposed to be some kind of revelation? at any given time, there are people that will think that any movie sucks. and yes, welcome to a few thousand posts ago.

i liked the movie, the one thing i didn't understand was, if the agent was willing to jump out of a window and fall to his certain doom, why when an agent was on the truck and morpheus grabbed onto him to keep from falling did he let him??? Why didn't he just fall with Morpheus...
Me and the wife say it yesterday. I wasn't going to post a thread about it, but since this one is here.
That had to be one of the WORST sequels ever. They TOTALLY ruined the whole first 1hr and 45 minutes of the movie with nothing but pointless and stupid action. Ok so Agent Smith all the sudden (and for NO apparent reason or explanation learns how to ?clone? himself.) Well I can understand he can clone himself by touching people, but now all the sudden he has just hundreds of Agent Smiths flying out of anywhere. Just stupid mindless action with no point.
So then you get to the French Software guy (forget his name, I think I was about to fall asleep at this point). Ok anyone notice how he threatens Neo ?you?re going to pay for this? and all the sudden disappear. Also those stupid white virus guys just totally disappear too. WAY too many plot holes to fill.
Which gets me to my next point. WTF was going on in the car chase. All the sudden Agent Smiths started taking over peoples bodies in cars. That is NOT cloning, that is taking over someone?s body and mind. He never touched them, never saw them. They just all the sudden turned into Agent Smith?.and for what freaking reason? So now if ANYONE can just automatically morph into Agent Smith, WTF are they running from? Wherever they go he?s going to show up.
About the last 30 mins of them taking over the building was ok, till of course, another 50 or so Agent Smiths started just flowing outta doorways for no reasons.
Seriously, my 6 yr old could have written a better plot and dialog than that dribble they are stuffing down the throats of people. Me and my wife agree that it was crap. Actually a few of the people walking out of the theater were talking about how bad it was.
Two thumbs WAY down. Anyone who enjoyed that must worship the Matrix way too much or be 12 years old.

BTW:..i think the movie was awesome...some people said there's no plot.....if u didn't pay attention, then u'll say that there's no plot..if you think that way and thought the movie sucked because of that, watch it again...

Did you ever see the first one? And If you'd paid any attention you would have understand half of the elements in the movie, considering a six year old could've. No offense, but your points were brutually stupid, if you didn't like the action that's fine...not your type of movie, but when you can't understand basic plotlines...bah
It happened in the first movie too. Agent Smith can just take over someone's body and that person becomes the Agent (An example: the rooftop fight in the first movie where Trinity and Neo get the helicopter to rescue Morpheus). It's just one of the properties of the agents (along with unusual quickness, jumping higher than normal, etc). However, with that method, there can only be one Agent Smith anywhere in the matrix at any particular time. But after Agent Smith figures out how to replicate himself in M:R, there can be numerous Agent Smiths running around the matrix at any given time.

Yes I've seen the first one, but it's been years. Brutally stupid? The whole movie was freaking lame. There still was NO explaination no how he was able to CLONE. I love action movies, but this was pointless mindless action.
Seriously, please explain to me why Agent Smith had to show up right after he talked to the Oracle. There was no point other than ANOTHER fight. He already saw him at the meeting at the first of the movie. It was there for some lame ass fight scene with 1 guy taking on 5.
Then all the sudden Neo can Fly!! Go Superman!!! whoo hoo. No I definately don't remember him flying in the first one.
Sorry you said it yourself, basic plotline. The movie sucked. I'm more into movies where they make sence and not just stupid action scenes of jumping 30 feet into the air to kick 30 guys for no damn reason.

The movie is for teenagers with no minds. I enjoy good movies like The Usual Suspects and movies that I don?t feel like I?m going to fall asleep during because the plot is so boring.
As stated, a LOT of people walking out of the movie was talking about how bad it sucked compared to the first. They tried to make it some action movie with stupid dialog. You hold this movie in too high regards. It's nothing spectacular.
you are a dumbass. neo flies in the first one. go watch it again. and there was also a brief explanation of why agent smith was able to clone himself.
