After four decades of listening to Joni, I still cannot fully comprehend the magic that is her. God sure broke the mould after making this incredibly talented, beautiful and so influential woman. There is such grace and meaning in her words and melodies, such an ethereal quality to her voice and instrument playing.

I'll give your links a listen. I'm not old enough to have listened to her at the time when she was most popular, but I have heard her songs occasionally. Excellent singer from what I've heard.

She's talented, but I've never been a big fan of female singers, especially the singer/songwriter/folk style.
 
Saw her in England @ Wembley stadium after slipping the ticket taker a quid to get in on the advice of the french guys I was with -- also on the bill was Santana and Jesse Colin Young and the Youngbloods.

Blue is one of THE most beautiful albums of ALL TIME. :heart:
 
I just can't like that kind of music. At its very best all it can do is avoid notice. My mind can't fix on it. I'm sure it's quite good though.
