When it comes to technology I'm a frontrunner. If I needed a comp to do nothing but photoshop i would get a Mac. Its a no brainer the mac is simply better for image editing an nothing can change that. As for games thats a no brainer too the pc is simply better. It has better support and better performance. Just depends what you use ur computer for. Not everyone is a gamer.......just my 2 cents

Damn I'm so tired of this bullsh!t. The Mac stinks in so many ways. Mac is probably the closest we ever get to monopoly. Every damn hardware need to be Macs own, and it costs a fortune. You can't make changes to the F*CKING system everything is locked the way it was build (more or less). It's no god damn wonder that mac doesn't have as many caompatibilty problems as the PC...But IMHO this is a too high price to pay. I don't wanna buy a f*cking computer with no what so ever ability to make changes without paying my hole income through the year :|.

Yes they are stable and yes not as many compatibility problems...but for what price :|. Monopoly here we go again. If MS can be draged to court for implementing IE5, then why can't mac have their asses draged to court for letting people in to their evil nest of monopolized dungeons?.

That's just my opinion

Obviously you've never opened a Mac. Much of the stuff is off the shelf hardware.

Well I must admit it's a long time ago a saw one on the inside :), but at that time it was put together in blocks which made it very expensive to repair.

Have Mac changed that much???. My mothers husband have a Mac (300Mhz or so)and buying new parts for his mac is very expensive. I admit he can do it, but you can't just plug in every god damn hardware you like to.

EUG: If all mac parts are from the shelves why don't you build yourself a mac system, or perhaps you can't????...F*CK

Sorta unrelated to Scuba's post, but, WOULD SOME FSCKING PEOPLE STOP SAYING MAC SUCKS(IS SUCKS IS SOMETHING THAT TRUELY SUCKS) "JUST CAUSE THEY SUCK"???!!!
At least give a good reason if you're gonna complain.
I can find several good things as well as several bad things about them, while most people why do nothing but complain cant seem to come up with any more than "They suck!".
Sorry bout the rant but this bull$hit is getting really old.

Oh and another thing, why cant we even say $hit?
I mean really, anyone who's learned to read has probabaly heard that word a million times anyway, so whats the point of banning such an incredibly useful word?

No you can't, but you can buy a low end G4 add parts yourself for a lot cheaper than buying it in the store. The mobo etc. is still proprietary though, obviously.

what operating system that can keep on doing typing even if you switch between five or more windows
it can make two users use the operating system.
one can use photoshop while the other can use a wordprocessing program.and multitasking is one of the things user's die for and mac is the healer.
hope you reply and please if you don't now don't post
