The M&M Burger

What would this thread be without a pic? 😉

Ingredients:
* Grilled Bison (melts in your mouth, hence M&M 😉) with special spice mix
* Whole-Wheat Bun (compliments the flavor of the ground Bison)
* Baby Spinach (very soft, no chunky lettuce hearts)
* Thin-sliced Tomato (in place of ketchup)
* Yellow Mustard
* Coating of Mayonnaise on both buns (for waterproofing...Alton Brown trick!)

It's like eating a meatloaf burger made from ground filet mignon...incredibly flavor, yet melts in your mouth. Mmmmm 😀 For spices, I use: (in order)

* Black pepper
* Garlic salt
* Season-All (seasoned salt)
* McCormick "Hamburger" spice
* Dried minced onions

/dies from heavenly flavor

Spinach ruins it.

False, spinach is awesome.

yeah, spinach would be ok but id ditch the yellow mustard. i have a serious aversion to the stuff. brown mustard would be ok, and id like a thin slice or two of onion on that.

Onion is pretty good with Bison. Sometimes I mixed fresh chopped onion & garlic into the burger (chunks of garlic, for some reason it goes REALLY well with the buffalo meat) and then grill it up.

Bison even tastes good on the Foreman grill, haha. But over charcoal...oh man, it's to die for 😀

Country style grey poupon is really good on burgers.

BTW, in that pic, are you holding it over the crapper or what?

😀 My bad, the mops and brooms threw me off.

Oh, I store them between the fridge and counter. Easy access for the lazy 😉

Edit: Okay, okay, I have my Roomba do the sweeping :evil:

subtract the veggies, and add some cheese and it would be delicious. Iceberg is acceptable, but I like meat + cheese typically.

How do you feel about lettuce on something like, say, hot chicken sandwhiches? Cold turkey sandwiches?
Discuss.
