The Logic Loves Freedom Ron Paul Thread

A few individuals who are vehemently anti-Ron Paul have made the suggestion that since I have a history of posting a few Ron Paul threads per week that I start one big Ron Paul thread and post stories & news articles therein. I am going to give this one shot out of respect for other members who for some reason or another are apposed to seeing Ron Pauls popularity abound. My one condition will be that those people respect the thread. If my thread is being trashed I will simply scrap the idea and continue posting each article by their own merits in their own threads. This should cut my threads on the topic back by at least 75%.
There are a great many people here at Anandtech following the Paul campaign closely as many believe as I do that this is history in the making. I ask that everyone interested please feel free to add knowledge and articles to this thread. Also let's do our best to keep this thread clean & civil. everyone have fun and keep learning. The Momentum behind the Paul campaign is reaching new levels as Paul is finally breaking into the double digits in numerous states and soon things will be coming to a climax.

Here are a few interesting points to get us started off.

Ron Paul is beating Romney at a republican poll in a popular mormon magazine written for COJC (Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints)

http://www.ldsmag.com/pollmentor/results.html

Latest Rasmussen Reports colorado poll has Paul at 12%

Also if anyone does not like this idea please feel free to pm me.

More to come.🙂

Go Paul go! I'd like to see Obama and Paul in the general election, and both of them seem to be gaining ground.

Please note that the colorado poll does not directly ask the Polled who they would vote for, it only asks who they think best represents them.

This thread is a great relief. Now we won't see Ron Paul threads claiming he is 90 points ahead and pulling away every day.
One single Ron Paul thread to ignore gets my vote.

At least we don't have to run into several different threads to tell everyone that Ron Paul is not going to get the nomination.

Perry: if RP has such a huge following how come Ron's huge tea party which, I would think would be a huge deal around the RP world has only had 155,626 visitors as of today? Maybe his fanboi club is not as big as you all would hope.

The first moneybomb had less than 100,000 and resulted in $4,300,000.00 million dollars cash raised in 24 hours. Shall we pretend now that you have even the slightest clue of what it is you are talking about? Would you care to make a prediction for all to see that the teaparty will be a failure? I mean you do know there are a thousand other sites advertising the teaparty correct? 😀

One condition of the thread was respect. Respect the thread and the thread will respect you. Also note that no one is required to use this thread and if it becomes filled with junk and insults it is likely many will not.

Yes; but you would think that the "official" Tea Party site would have quite a bit more traffic if he is really planning to pull off the next revolution.

And I'm not going to make a prediction that it will be a failure. What will be a failure is his quest for the nomination.

It is what it is. I can pretty much guarantee you the Boston TeaParty will rake in 6, 7 or 8 million dollars though. That doesn't happen if you have no support. Hell Obama, Huckabee & Thompson tried it and they all failed miserably. Because you don't understand it means nothing.

And what don't I understand? I saw how much money he pulled in last time; and what really means nothing is how much money he will pull in this time, because he is still not going to get the nomination.

We've been listening to you people say that for quite some time and your voices keep getting quieter and fewer. Stick around a little longer.😀

It's no that he doesn't understand; it's that he doesn't want to understand.

Republicans Feud At SF Straw Poll

CBS News: SAN FRANCISCO (CBS 5) ? The San Francisco Republican Alliance held its endorsement dinner Tuesday night, and the event quickly became heated.

An Amateur photographer captured the evening on video. They were supposed to have a straw-poll taken to endorse a Presidential candidate. But when 75 supporters of Ron Paul arrived, the straw poll was abruptly cancelled. That's when the heat started.

At one point, hotel security was called to deal with the angry crowd. Hank Plante has more in his video report.

"Numerous information on the next president of the United States"

Strange but I don't see anything about Hillary or Rudy in this thread, maybe you made a mistake?

Are you 12? That is the most ignorant argument that anyone can make. So ignorant in fact that even the media ignores it. You don't think you can find a rapist that supports Huckabee, a murderer who supports Hillary or a drug dealer that supports Romney? Everyone has trash supporting them and none of the candidates are seeking out all these people and returning the funds. Time to dump the immature vision of the world for something a little more grown-up and realistic. Every candidate has a few rotten apples supporting them and it does not mean they support the bad apples.

Except when its brought to attention of Paul's campaign staff and they go.."well, we'll think about returning the money." That is not the proper action when receiving money from a white supremacist group. That is something reasonable people do.
