They talk like they write when they post on the internet! See my post in this thread.

I would never talk like that in real life. But it looks good in writing, and ATOT is just a place to goof off anyway. But some people talk like that ALL THE TIME (and in particular one guy talks like that extremely loudly in my dorm) and I never understood why.

It's just like jargon...it doesn't matter when you're around people who know what you're talking about, since it's just a common language. Plus after a whole day of being serious about the English language, it's sorta a break to not have to worry about dese grammar and speling errors we be using

A group of people, musicians, athletes, police, etc having their own jargon is nothing new.

I'm not talking about jargon. I'm talking about a totally different way of speaking that uses lofty scripted-sounding overly-dramatic dialogue that sounds more like something you'd read in a book than how people actually talk. I'll post some examples as I see them in threads.
