make sure you go on launch day, theres a very good chance theyll sell out. if not then youll probably have to wait for 2nd shipment.
 
im so happy i preordered mine. cant wait to play it tomorrow night!

now lets hope they have 3rd party component cables. im going to best buy/frys/circuit city to see if they have anything out in stock.

yeah im going to try to get one. i missed out on pre-orders. if i have ot get one on the 2nd shipment then i have to. but going to try to get one on launch day
 
I can't wait. I want to get that Rapala fishing game too. Prolly rent it first though. Who cares how dumb it looks, I can't wait to play it drunk. Also I think the wii sports golf game would make a great drinking game 😛

Ive been saying this for a few months now. Once people see how interactive and new this thing is, itll start to take off. Im glad I got a couple preordered 🙂
 
What was used to encode those videos? I think the clarity and resolution are excellent. It says Flash, but Flash doesn't encode videos. They might have used quicktime or something.

I've tried to encode videos using Microsoft Media Encoder, but the end result is much blockier, fuzzier, and lower res. I've alway strived to make clear videos like this.

 
I have to agree with most people here on AT.
It looks like each game would be fun for one day, then get really tiresome.
But as long as they keep coming out with new ways to use the contollers the Wii will probably survive long enough for Nintendo's next project.

Yep, doing a google search, it seems that wii (i.e., Nintendo) will try to supply the stores as best as possible and not try to create an "artificial" demand. If this is truly the case, and there are wii available on launch day. I'm going to buy one. It looks so cool.

Hmmm.....yeah, this looks like good stuff. I may not get one anytime soon, but I know I will definately get one, especially when more downloadable games are available.
