Think I'm gonna make some food and watch the first The Knick, in a short bit, I'd been meaning too.

yeah...don't do that while you're eating. though too late, I guess.

as others mentioned Sarah Conner Chronicles was a great show. So angry when it was cancelled. 😡

It was better than T2!

The Last Ship had a little bit of zombie-like people in a ep a couple weeks ago on the tropical island. So if you like zombie behavior maybe you can look forward to their return in a future ep. It's not like I'm spoiling anything mentioning them because it's understood the virus may be making some people behave nasty before it does them in.

I too am watching Extant. Not a stellar show but much more interesting than Under The Dome right now.

I wasn't a big fan of The Unit. Not terrible though.

Extant is considerably better than Under The Dome, at least script/eye candy wise.

Far more entertaining but I don't know if it has enough staying power/ratings to get it renewed.

I have memory problems so when they drop a series it doesn't bother me. I just try to enjoy the ride. It is all fiction anyways.

Watched The Leftovers over the weekend. I thought it was going to be like Pulse, where people kept disappearing, but if its just the initial 2%, it isn't as intriguing.
Especially when its revealed the taken weret even good people.
Its a good show, but I get the feeling the plot isn't going anywhere for awhile.

Why in the fuck would anyone willingly watch a serial drama by Damon Lindelof?

That's like deciding you want sleeves tattooed on your arms. By Michael J Fox.

lol. You must be right--this show is just getting worse. Not sure why I keep watching, but I think it's because HBO is the only channel I have now, and I just run whatever is on in the background.

I've been watching The Leftovers. It's okay, but it's really just like Lost. They have to create mystery from everything, even the mundane. They create 10 new questions for every one that they answer. I am happy to hear that it is deviating from the book, as my reading of the book's synopsis was disappointing.

I've been recording The Strain and just watched the pilot last night. For all of the crap the show has gotten, I was pleasantly surprised. Maybe the fact that I've read the first book makes me enjoy it more.

who writes or directs something is 100% irrelevant to my potential enjoyment of it

TBH I have no idea who Damon Lindelof is

This is the dumbest thing I've ever read.

So the fact that every single project that someone has participated in, has been ruined by his participation, has NO IMPACT on how likely you are to continue watching what they put out?

That's borderline psychopathy right there.

edit: and it's worth emphasizing, that said party's ruined projects nearly ALWAYS come in the form of 'often starts out okay, then becomes progressively less coherent until concluding with an ending that inspires insipid, murderous rage.' So there is a very logical reason for writing off any future endeavors, rather than giving them any kind of chance to fool you again.

that is correct. also you seemed to gloss over the part that I have no idea who that dude is, I don't look this shit up and simply don't care to. if I think something looks interesting I watch it, if not I don't its literally that simple.

You know how I know you have issues?

Holy shit dude, calm down. If someone enjoys something you don't, I think everything will still turn out quite peachy.

Wow the Last Ship got gooood.

Totally did not see that twist coming. The leader of the underground group plays the bad guy in so many shows so that completely threw me off. Also wtf with the one state trooper taking over the entire ship? That's BS

Wow, do you get angry over what people like or don't like on the internet? People you don't even know?

No, this was just the first time he managed to get me to reply to it.

I saw another one recently, I ignored it as I have ignored the many previous posts.

I've only watched/watch "The Last Ship" and "The Strain" but I voted for "The Last Ship." "The Strain" is alright but I guess I just like the plot and characters in "The Last Ship" better.

I think the season finale of The Last Ship pretty much turned me off to the series. I saw it coming for a while, and
the fat police guy taking over the ship with a handgun and maybe a few henchmen just lacked a lot of credibility to me.
