Can someone explain to me what happened in last night's episode? How did the black neighbor knew that the woman next door had thrown the rock through the window?

And did you catch that phone conversation about Azreal? That was seriously weird.

But I like this lensing theory.

Thought the episode was confusing, good as always but confusing. I think Nora threw the rock to get back at the father (John?) for not following through on helping Nora's brother. Unless John told his wife about what happened she could never put 2 and 2 together to figure out Nora threw it, and I doubt there's a security camera, so who knows. I think Nora was "on board" or at least intrigued with the lensing theory too until that woman brought up Azrael and the Vacation thing, maybe she's agnostic like her neighbor claims to be so I don't know why they wouldn't get along, the whole rock throwing thing was just weird. The Freddie Rumsen actor played that DSD guy too so nice to see him get roles after Mad Men, seen him in small parts for other shows too.

I think Nora despises her because the missing daughter makes her think she is a lens for departing. And I think the neighbor felt her contempt and figured Nora threw the rock, so she threw it back as a FU2. Or something like that. I think half the stuff that happens in this show originally has no meaning, just looks cool, and they figure it out later.

Anyways, that interview scene was intense. At one point it felt like they were going to kill each other. lol

This has been an epic season. That interview scene.. dayum and Regina King going off.. wow!!

Would be cool if it really was related to some demon Azrael stuff.

I do think Kevin had something to do with the girls disappearing, there's going to be a huge twist just not sure what it is yet, but him trying to kill himself and us not seeing why sounds to me like he's guilty of something, maybe he's a lens? Who knows but he wasn't suicidal in the previous season during his sleep-walking stuff he was just crazy as was his dad. I keep waiting to see when all this will tie back to the weird first scene of this season too.

Like this show, but I'd be surprised if they answer even one question brought up by the show

Yeah, like when Wayne took Nora's pain away, but it seems to be back. And the son then claimed to have that ability, but he obviously made that up. And in the background of one of the episodes Wayne was supposedly alive in Australia, now claiming he couldnt die, but the son didnt even acknowledge it. So wtf was Wayne's deal?? And the narrow focus of each episode this season doesnt help. You start to forget who and what is relevant. Maybe thats by design.

So, did he died? That was a crazy last scene for an otherwise kinda dull episode.

I doubt it, unless they're going all game of thrones on us.. lol.

In the preview at the end, John's son who was carrying him out seems to be surprised about something.

Probably, dude returnsed from the dead.

I think the kid is going to bury him like Regina King does with the birds, and he'll probably wake up in three days.

Last night's episode was phenomenal. I especially loved how they used the classical music. The waking up in a bath tub part reminded me of Forever.
And the part about not drinking the water is like the old Greek myths where if you eat something in Hades, you're bound there forever - like Persephone. I also liked the attitudes of all of the people. We are completely and totally out of fucks to give.

Last night's episode will probably be very polarizing but I still can't decide if I liked it or not. Of all the crazy shit that goes on in this show it's honestly the first "supernatural" thing I remember happening and I liked that it stayed real like that for so long, but this kinda throws that track record out the window. However, the episode itself was very good and riveting at times. Have seen people saying it had a very LOST feel to it, I never saw the show but if that's what it was like I can see it being as popular as it was. Unfortunately, as good as the episode was it answered very little and even raises more questions then we started with. Only 2 more episodes to go, we'll see.

The supernatural aspect has been long overdue. The departure was always a supernatural event so the fact that they've taken this long to get around to it is sorta amazing.

I think they handled hell/purgatory pretty well. What will be interesting will be to see is how far they're going to go with this. I don't think they're every going to address the departures directly but I think they're going to push around the edges in a couple of different ways. The last episode was a big step in that direction - at least I hope so.

I knew there would be an episode like last night's that showed Tom and Laurie's falling out, but had no idea it would focus on Meg too. Was wondering when the GR would factor into things, looks like they were planning something from the get-go. I wonder how it ties in with what Meg's Mom wanted to tell her, and her screwing Tom while he was captured. Not to mention Kevin just "resurrected" himself and we still don't know what that's all about. Wow they better use every minute of the finale to explain things.

How many more episodes left? 2?

I really like that they show the fracturing of the Guilty Remnant. It always beggars belief when they show these sorts of groups as monlithic. It also plays into the idea of religious extremism since it seems that Meg's group is about to do something very bad. Although I think they might surprise us. The obvious implication was some sort of bomb, but that closing scene with the girls makes think that they're up to something else - although at this point I can't imagine what.

Also makes me think.. that quake that happened when the girls disappeared. Was it created by the GR to make it seems like something super natural occured so they can set things up like that? How does the opening scene from E1 factor into all this?

This show is just like Lost, I'm diggin it, but in a way I feel like they might be setting us up for disappointment in the end.
