LOL, you people do realize this was their plan all along, right? What better way to generate demand for something than to take it away?

ROFLES! I think you just pwned yourself 😉

Keep at least one can and save it. Remember Crystal Pepsi ? Well someone sold a 1-liter size bottle of that for like 30 bucks on ebay recently.

They still sell it here in Chicago...

Check the expiration date on the soda. We used to sell but, if I remember correctly, it had an expiration date of 11/03 (don't ask me why such a short shelf life - maybe its radioactive)

Eh hem.

Let's clear this up. After a chat with our Pepsi vendor a month or so ago, I asked why we didn't have anymore coming in. He explained it is a Summer specialty product. With that said, the vendor also mentioned that it IS a summer product (redundant eh?)...

Basically, it will be back on the shelves in a few months' time. It sold quite well in all markets it was in. I work in retail, I should know. I think May is the date it returns to the shelves.

The only way I like my high dose of caffine - LiveWire. 🙂

....you can still find it on the shelves here, because nobody buys it.

Code Red >>>> LiveWire

Same here. I'll drink Code Red anyday over Livewire.

Since I gave up soft drinks entirely last March I never had the pleasure of tasting this Livewire. Sounds good, though and I am sure I would have tried it out...alas, I will not revert to my old carbonated ways.. 😀

I posted a note on the Livewire site saying I don't like orange soda or caffeine so I'd never buy it.

FIGHT!!!!

ah vintage mt dew, year 2003🙂 it was a good year🙂

damnit i shoulda saved some🙁

I shoulda saved some of these

Vintage 1992

NOTE: Nutrasweet / Artificial Sweetened drinks expire and go bad, pretty much close to the expiration date. Even sweetend drinks go bad. I had a 2l bottle of regular sprite in the pantry for over a year (didnt' realize). Opened it up and it tasted awful. Whoever buys that can of crystal pepsi is in for a surprise if they open it, perhaps they'll think that's what it tasted like and cure them of the desire for more, in that case a good investment. Otherwise, not so good.
