I'd forgotten how much I missed it until the other day when I accidentally made my own Livewire. I'd brought back some leftover Mello Yellow from lunch and it was almost out (only about 1/4 of a cup left) and I was about to head into a 2 hr. meeting so I knew I'd need more liquid than that. So I grabbed a bottle of Diet Sunkist that I'd brought from home, poured it in the cup with the remaining Mello Yellow and I swear it tasted almost exactly like Livewire. Even though the combination seemed like it wouldn't work as well (Mello Yellow's more tangy and a Diet Sunkist isn't as sweet as regular Sunkist) it actually seemed to be a great blend. I'll be using that more often until they bring it back.

well, they saw my name on the petition.. #6 I believe... That put the fear into them. (Don't tell them I gave up pop/soda as a new years resolution)

....you can still find it on the shelves here, because nobody buys it.
