I am really digging The Knife lately. I know they have been around for awhile, but I find all there stuff to still sound pretty current. Does anyone else here on ATOT like The Knife?

I try not to admit that I listen to "techno". I would describe them as very beautiful and melancholy with heavy beats/synth> The singers voice is similar to Bjork but I find her much more pleasant than Bjork which can get a little whiny IMO.

I like Fever Ray a lot, but not near as much as The Knife. If I Had A Heart is a great song with a creepy video.

love the knife, though they're not techno. They also produced some Robyn songs, which are deliriously catchy

See, I don't really consider them "techno" either. I don't know what to classify them as.

In hindsight I would have had our first dance song to be "Marble House", that song is so awesome.

Techno is a pretty inaccurate term the people apply to any music that has electronic components because they don't know better.

I'd probably just classify The Knife as Lofi/Ecclectic.
