The soundtrack of "The Keep" was by Tangerine Dream.

The reason you cannot find it is that it has never been released in its entirety, due to legal problems.

Quote from Amazon.com:

"Performed by the new age gurus TANGERINE DREAM, the soundtrack of THE KEEP has never been released in its entirety. In 1996, members of the group re-recorded two pieces used in the film in new remixes, and in 1999 Tangerine Dream released a special "official" release which contained only two pieces from the film compiled with unused studio test sessions (a bootleg circulating in the early '90s contained the same material). To date, the actual music used in THE KEEP has not been released due to legal problems unlikely to be resolved.

While the video is periodically released for sale, fans of both THE KEEP and TANGERINE DREAM await the possible arrival of a special edition of the movie on DVD, which it is hoped will include an isolated music score and additional footage, especially the rarely seen second ending shown occasionally on television."

No kidding, the book was GREAT!!

Was written by Paul Wilson as I recall.

The book dealt with a LOT of the "mind fuk" that the vampire was using to get help from the Prof. that they never even hinted about in the movie.

If you liked the movie, READ the book. You'll LOVE it!!

Edit: I was close, his name is F. (Francis) Paul Wilson (Not bad since it's been probably 15 years since I read that book. Goes to show you how much of an impression it left on me.)

But I'm sure somebody ripped them out of the movie, or something like that, something illegal, and its for sale somewhere, or as a warez?

I really need it, or am I just wishing for nothing?

Do you steal everything you think you "really need?"

You don't "really need it." That's foolish. Nobody "really needs" a movie soundtrack.

Any help you'll get from me ends here.

Bad juju man! OT Gods frown upon this discussion. Beware of 12v bolts of lightning coming from the Mod tree :)

Besides, if they ripped it from the move, it would be horrible quality, you wouldn't want to subject yourself to the pain of bad recordings.
