Listen to Boy and keep in mind that they were 17 and 18 years old when they made it. Edge and Adam were very creative and good for their age.

If you like U2, you may like INXS as well. They are very similiar, check them out!

And yes, U2 and INXS are my two favoritae bands. Ever. (Oh, and throw Pink Floyd in there too...)

I went to Joshua Tree National Forest a few months ago and it was surrealistic and beautiful. I also like the album.

Bono was deemed a GOD after that album.... I'm not sure exactly which issue, but MAXIM magazine did a timeline of U2's successes/failures last year. It was interesting...of course so were the other things in MAXIM...I need to get another subscription.

Definitely one of the best albums ever made. Came out when I was in high school...even got to see them when they came through MI. Still have the shirt somewhere.

I should Ebay all my old 80's concert shirts....I bet I could make a mint off them just for the kitsch appeal.

That was my first U2 album. I have had all of them since (except for POP which was horrible), but they have been "borrowed" and not returned. I think I am going to by myself all of their albums for Christmas, because their music just rocks. They are easily the best band of the last 15 years.

Yeah, Joshua Tree was an awesome album. (Also, the first one I ripped to MP3) It's a shame none of the current crap even comes close.

Very good album, I've always prefferred War though. It has more of an edge(no pun intended) to it, Joshua Tree was much more mainstream.
