I'm not sure if the claim deserve merit, but this is just sickening if true that Israel is behind the whole mess in Syria.

Former Bush administration official says Syrian chemical weapons use might've been "false flag operation" of Israel.

A former senior official in the Bush administration said on Thursday the use of chemical weapons in Syria might have been a "false flag operation" of Israel, meant to implicate Syrian President Bashar Assad.
"We don’t know what the chain of custody is. This could’ve been an Israeli false flag operation, it could’ve been an opposition in Syria... or it could’ve been an actual use by Bashar Assad. But we certainly don’t know with the evidence we’ve been given. And what I’m hearing from the intelligence community is that that evidence is really flakey," retired Col. Lawrence Wilkerson, Colin Powell's former chief of staff, told Cenk Uygur in an interview with Current TV.

Given this "flimsy evidence," Wilkerson doesn't believe a red line has been crossed in Syria, and that the US should not base its intervention in the war-torn country based on such evidence.
Wilkerson criticized Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu harshly, saying there is a "geostratigically, geopolitical inept regime in Tel Aviv right now."

"We saw really startling evidence of that in the fact that [US] President [Barack] Obama had to tell Bibi Netanyahu, 'pick up the phone, you idiot, and call Ankara and get yourself out of this strategic isolation you're in right now, do a reconciliation with Turkey, the most powerful country in the region,' otherwise Bibi probably wouldn't have done it," he said.
He also said the prime minister was "clueless" as to the grave security situation Israel is in.

I think right now more evidence points to it being a false-flag attack by one of the rebel groups. However, it is still very far from certain exactly who did what.
 
Israel is doing its best to get a more hostile anti-Israel post-Assad government in Syria by getting so involved in this civil war. It's almost like they forgot that they had a powerful hand in bringing about Hamas...
 
I think the OP is a stretch based on what the guy said. He was basically saying they don't know who used the weapons, something that more recent news reports have backed up.
 
Wouldn't surprise me one bit. Israel is itching to fight something and has been trying to force the US into its bullshit.

Israel has no itch with Syria that needs scratching like this.

The rebels could easily have taken over a supply depot of tbe Syrian government that has some gas stockpiled.

That's what I was thinking. The rebels are dangerous,Assad is only trying to keep them isolated from civil society.

Israel is protecting itself from munitions going from Syria to HEzbollah.

They have not interjected themselves in the civil war.

It would make perfect sense for Israel to wait till the munitions to make it across the border to Lebanon before attacking to avoid a political uproar. However, that didn't happen and Israel illegally entered Syria air space to attack Syrian targets.

IMHO, there is a greater motive to the entire charade than Israel is letting on.

I would take what Israel said with a grain of salt, because Israel have a history of breaking international laws, rules, researched/possess WMD, and even spies on its own allies.

Weapons are coming from Syria.

Much better to take them out in Syrian territory than be accused of violating agreement terms and attack a convoy in Lebanese territory.

Remember that the latest terrorist attack on America was done by a conspiracy theorist NOT by a Zionist. Conspiracy theorists are actively working to overthrow our democratic republic, Zionists are not. Conspiracy theorists can in fact be extremely dangerous to their fellow Americans.
