Yea, I'm not sure exactly who they plan on replacing him with.

Mariucci should take a year off and do some broadcasting. I think he would be great at it. They can put him on that crap-ass CBS pregame show and maybe that'll spice things up a bit....

When you roll over and die before the end of the first half, you don't deserve to work in the NFL.

Now that the Jags have fired their previous coach I lost out on Superbowl tickets for 2005. The old coach's daughter is good friends with my girlfriend. Maybe he can still get us some tickets.

It's almost certain Denny Green will be the new coach.

This hurts the Panthers... Del Rio turned that defense completely around.... whoever takes his place as defensive coordinator has HUGE expectations now.

It's not very nice to call someone a couch.

Lotta people here in Iowa were fearing that Ferenz was going to take it.

I guess Mike Mularky (off Coord Pit) will probably be staying put then, as there are no more head coach openings iirc...

That and he doesn't fit in with the open-offensive attack that 49er organization is accustomed to. He called the most conservative games of any coach since before Bill Walsh. You know the Niners wish he had taken the Tampa Bay job now. They could have gotten draft picks for him but instead they get bumpkus.

I wonder if General Manager Terry Donahue will be next 49ers head coach. I think he wanted to coach NFL team couple of years ago
and I think he is itching to get back into coaching again.
