"The IT Crowd" - British comedy

Thought some people here might like this. Starting... here. I'm not sure how many episodes there are. There are three parts to each episode.

They're bringing it to the U.S. ala The Office.

Moss will be coming over, the rest of the cast will not.
🙂

This really scares me...I have a feeling they're going to fvck it up. Season 2 of the UK version is supposed to start filming soon.

Ah, that explains why I couldn't find any season 2 episodes.

I loved it too, but its been like a year since they made another one. They only had 6 episodes. Someone here had all the episodes hosted.

That's all there is.

I'm glad that they're bringing Moss over, I don't think that anyone else could play him if you've watched the British version. I watched this sometime last year and I must admit, it's the only British comedy I've seen that I've liked.

What makes the show amusing is the really nerdy approach that it has.. as long as the American version has that, I think it will be fine.

*Types* "FIRE... send help... no that's not right" *deletes e-mail* "Hello my good friend, there's a bit..."

It is crap. I've been getting into British television in the past year or so and I decided to check "The IT Crowd" out. What a joke. Literally, the show is a complete joke.

You're not much of an IT person, are you?

How could one that hath worked in Information Technology not findeth the show amusing? :Q

I abhor British comedy... I just don't find it funny, but this is the only British show that I've liked. I don't find it funny just because it's IT though, although that helped me get into it a bit.

No, see, it was the type of comedy that I found ridiculous. Not the setting or even writing (Information Technology) but the level of comedy is just so low. Its not at all like The Office (we'll even say the original) in that regard, which didn't depend on stupid physical comedy for laughs.

Different strokes for different folks I suppose, but there is far better British comedy to be had than this garbage. Trust me.
