Bush: He also seemed eager to leave: "Gotta go home. Got something to do tonight. How about you? Where are you going? Home?"

Geez I hope it was something that had to do with running the damn country

Ohnoez, the S word!

Funny how liberals were circlejerking in Text

so, I've read this entire thread and I don't see where anyone made a big deal out of bush saying the "s word." can you please show me where in this thread that happened?

they didn't even bleep it out on CNN this morning.

Most of the "tension" is because of US/British medling with the governments in the mid east so they can control the flow of oil. Until this behavior changes, there will never be peace because someone will always be suffering as a result.
Not entirely true. Tensions between the western world and the Islamic world stem all the way back to the Crusades.

The Islamic world is not exactly a victim of this dynamic...just as the Crusades represented European interference in Middle Eastern affairs, the Islamic world has certainly made attempts to thrust their sword into Europe.

European imperialism and the fall of the Ottomon Turkish Empire after WW1 is what set the stage for the current tensions...as the western world managed to achieve a technological military superiority that the Islamic world simply could not match...and the arbitrary carving of the Middle East into random sovereign states that did not respect cultural and religious divisions throughout the region.

The creation of Israel and oil dependency have certainly raised America's stakes in the region, but our intervention is just a blip on the radar screen when compared to the conditions that established these tensions.

Oh knoes! Bushie said the "S" word.

If only he had said, "We need to nuke those fvckers in Syria and Iran. Screw the pussies in the UN! Nuke those fvckers, twice!"

Now that would have totally unified his base for November!

CNN of course is making this front page news, complete with video.

Can you blame Bush for not directly talking to N.Korea? Why should they get special treatment above anyone else with nukes? Why do you let them off the hook for not joining multi-party talks and blame the US for it?

North Korea launched missiles and then blamed it on the US for not talking to them directly. the rest of the world called bull on them for it. Can you imagine the disaster if the US did open direct talks with them and made them angry? Then they would blame it on us and the world would jump on the band waggon. Bush would be suicidal to enter into 1-on-1 talks with N.Korea.

Because it's easy to blame the U.S. We're the bad guys everywhere for everything. C'mon get with the program.

nice linkage by the way. 🙂

Can look like idiots? They've been doing that for 6 years ever since Gore was a sore loser.

Not to rehash this one . . . but getting more votes than your opponent and subsequently feeling a little cheated . . . ain't exactly sore.

It is curious to hear a tool like Bush talk about using engaged, direct discussion to solve conflict. But I imagine the hypocrisy didn't phase a true patriot like yourself.

So when he goes to war the liberals scream "you didn't try enough talk"!! Then when he talks instead of war with N.Korea, Lebanon and Syria he's a hypocrit for not going to war? Do you want him to attack or not? Who has trouble making up their minds?

As for the whole gore Bush thing I agree with you. I would have been irritated if I was Gore as well.

the bush policy on north korea is a closed door policy which is the problem. the previous administration had open talks with north korea, cameras in their facilities and access to anywhere and anything in the country. the concept of staying as close to your enemies as possible is not that difficult to understand. so you are wrong, it is not as simple as you either talk or go to war.

Clinton did more then talk, he gave them the reactors that they can use to create nuclear devices...but hey, he was talking!

Light water reactors are fairly innocuous when it comes to weapons.

Um, actually most people are discerning enough to say current (and some past) US policies are a contributing factor . . . but feel free to cling to your hysteria.

The irony that the head of the administration which fines networks for using the S word (and also claims to have 'moral values') is using the same S word on the world stage completely escapes you.

Apparently you can't see who the real 'jerk' is.

LMAO, this is defintely something Bush would do. Did you see his mouth when he was eating? LOL. I'm no means some anti-Bush hater, but something like this certainly doesn't help his image.

The trouble with Gore was that he wasn't irritated enough, or honest enough to demand a total recount of the whole state instead of areas where Democrats had majorities. He was the winner state wide in total legal votes and should have been President.

As for this thread, how long you speak depends on how much you have to say in relation to how much your audience knows. In this regard Bush shouldn't talk ever and listen constantly.

Hey look, Pavlov's Dog!

OK, I see you, now what. Was I supposed to be somehow interested in your Pavlovian response to my post?

Later, Bush added that 'the irony is, what they need to do is get Syria to get Hezbollah to stop doing this sh it, and it's over,' though he does not specify who 'they' are.

The recording picked up as Bush, apparently expected to make remarks, declared: 'I'm just going to make it up. I'm not going to talk too damn long like the rest of them. Some of these guys talk too long.'

😀

Is it ok to bypass the filter on a quote?

You are making a big deal out of nothing!! Bush is absolutely correct in what he is saying!!

I think it is you who has issues....

Wow, ban for trolling.

Hmm. You broke the rules with your post yet you call for a ban on someone else. Dont ask me how you broke the rules. Figure it out.

As for my comment. Bush really needs to be careful around mics.

This moron has all the class and dignity of britney spears. Mouth breathing, cud chewing jackass. If I were to eat like that my dad would have smacked me in the back of the head. He has zero class, zero manners and zero diplomacy, so glad he's there to carbo load. :disgust:

Pavlov's dog in denial I see.

Hey, Gore lost the recount too! (Let's see if I can bypass his complex self-hate filter to get into his psychic secretions).

So S#it for brains drops the S bomb Probably made him feel like a big man. I bet Mrs. Bush gets some action tonight.

Whatever troll-boy. I sincerely doubt that citizens of the us or the world respect dumbya more than they respect Clinton. Whether you like it or not, this prez is a hillbilly wanna be, frat-boy, silver spoon, hasn't earned a goddamned thing in his life, jackass, and you come and defend his every step and misstep.
At least I can admit and acknowledge when someone I respect in office screws up, and I am adult enough to admit I was wrong. Doubt you'll ever grow up enough to do that, alot like dumbya...

earned, right, ok. nice diversion too. dumbya has minimal respect at home, let alone globally, and well, he is the smacktard in chief, so he is the prez, not Clinton, try living in the today and not in the 7 years ago. God sakes, what, were you like 11 then? So worldly you are, so wise. You mom was buying you underoos when Clinton was president. LOL!

So little respect that he got 55 million votes! I'd like such little respect please. And money too.
