I never watched it, but from the preview it looked sort of like a rehash of Logan's Run with some Sixth Day thrown in for good measure.

It was much better than I expected. Sure, it had some plot holes and some just plain stupid stuff in it. But overall, I enjoyed it a lot.

I think people have come to expect too much from movies. It's not supposed to be critically acclaimed, change the world, or inspire the masses. It's supposed to entertain you for a couple hours. Everyone is different, so it's not going to entertain everyone. Doesn't make it a "crap movie" if it's not to your tastes.
exactly.

I liked the movie a lot. was TONS of action. neat story idea. Tons of stuff going on to hold your interest.

Movies are just supposed to be fun and entertaining and I was DEFINITELY entertained by that movie.

Would definitely see it again.

the first 2 acts were very good, then the last act got kinda stupid. Because of that, I like it, but not very much. But damn that girl's got the bewbies and DSL worth more than J-Lo's booty.

Typical Bruckheimer flick. Lots of commercial placement, impossible events (Armageddon anyone?), but just plain fun.

Definately with the DSL's.

Man, I almost forgot about that term! 😉

Wow, I just looked at some photos at IMDB and she looks much different than what she normally does.

She looks like Scarlet Johansen with a little Brittany Murphy and Jessica Simpson thrown in.

No, its a Michael Bay film.

Cool movie.

It was not a flawless movie, but is very watch able especially with Johanssen as a star side kick. It has some element of Logan?s Run, and my favorite movie Blade Runner.

[add] I just realised that both movies Blade Runner and The Island setting in the year 2019.
