Just saw a segment on Dateline about the IRS and undelivered tax refunds. Most people recieve their undelivered tax refunds the next year, but a few don't. Check it out, it only takes a few seconds and all you need to supply is your last name and state (optional).

And if you are by chance owed an undelivered refund, call 1800-TAX(829)-1040.

BTW, if you're entitled to a $400k refund, remember who informed you.

I don't know, but apparently, $67million dollars went unclaimed last year. So I guess it happens quite, although quite infrequently.
