so free! as we stand atop the corpses of dead children murdered in schools, and the violence in our streets, and those who saw no other way but to take their own lives, let us hold tight to our guns that freed them all too soon! /obligatorysarcasm

It must be getting close to election season, as the trolls are mysteriously all appearing at the same time./eyeroll

Just under 49,000 dead Americans in 2021 from guns is a tremendous victory. That you postulate there could be trillions of rounds of ammo shows just how dumb you are.

After the October 7th atrocities in Israel by Islamic terrorists do you really expect American gun owners to willingly give up their arms ? Regardless how many people commit suicide or gangbangers murder other gang members?

If they are smart they would. After all, owning something for protection that makes you more likely to die is stupid.

I can't believe that even needs to be explained.

I had a coworker talking about how he has some firearm(s) at home for protection. I almost commented "as long as you understand the risk of injury or death is greater with a gun in the house than without" but I also didn't want to make the conversation awkward, heh.

Not in a country like the US with its pathetically sick level of mental health. Here we see the butterfly effect in full swing. A Palestinian farts and a million firearms are sold down the street. Brains transmitting at the speed of light to each other via radio waves carrying vibrations of Amygdaloid mass psychos.

I had to buy an AR just so my neighbors would know who not to shoot. If you’re not team AR you’re a worthless nobody. America ‘s favorite gun. I pity the poor immigrant that tries to take them away.

Probably a smart move. People do not like it when you tell them this - I imagine it's because they view themselves as the 'good' gun owner who would never do those things. Sadly they often don't have time to realize they're wrong.

After the October 7th January 6th, 2021 atrocities in Washington by Y'all Qaeda terrorists do you really expect American gun owners to willingly give up their arms ? Regardless how many people commit suicide or gangbangers murder other gang members?
Fixed it for you. There is only one reason I own guns and it's not because of Hamas, Isis, al-Qaeda, space lasers, Mexicans, etc. I own them because of the other guys wanting to negate my vote and destroy democracy.

How many monkeys do you think have fallen to their deaths from trees when a leopard growls. More than the number that fall back to sleep on the ground and do nothing?

What??? You won’t respect the will of the people if they choose to replace democracy with a fascist state? What a hypocrite.

I’m trying to follow your logic here; are you saying gun owners are terrorists? That makes more sense than claiming gun owners are the military for a government.

Perhaps you should take another vacation and come back when you’ve figured out what the hell you are trying to say.

I think he is saying, even if he might disagree with the way I put it, is that people are aware of world events to a degree they were not in the past so they are constantly bombarded with disaster all over the planet. This means that if you don't life in a crime ridden city and don't watch the news, the world appears to be quite safe since nothing much ever happens around you. Expand your horizons, however, and if you value your life or the lives of those you love you will want a gun for self defense regardless of the statistical risk. The risk people consider is the ones that trigger their imagination as to what may be lurking under the bed. This is why children jump on their beds from several feet away. It could grab your feet and pull you under. You may not have noticed buy irrational people aren't affected by reason

I’m thinking of buying a gun for self protection.

Wait, I think I’ll buy 50 guns because that will be even safer.

I get it.

If we could discard the red states from the Union and live amongst ourselves, I know I'd feel a fuck ton safer. Wouldn't need a gun. Unless they wanted to invade.

The 2A obsessed ammosexuals had their chance to show us that they would use their guns to protect Democracy on January 6 2021. I wonder why they weren't defending the Capitol building?

Reading is hard isn't it ivwshane?

I have nothing against guns. I gave up my gun when I first had kids. I didn't want one around at the time. It's fun to go to the shooting range with some friends.

If we were able to enact laws that enabled responsible gun ownership, this wouldn't be an issue.

Any sane person understands that you can't prevent everything. It's about making sure the world is as safe as possible. And yes, sometimes you have to protect idiots from themselves.

I guess we can't even trust gun buyback programs in this country--because of course, OF COURSE our free market system would create a gun buyback processor that strips the lower/serial number and sells the rest for spare parts.
