heh, you've never been to texas, have you? we put knives in almost everything...
 
this really isnt that brilliant. even if you could do it that easily on a PC, there are far easier and less risky ways to get software.

Yes, that's all you've ever had to do. Most programs don't need an Un-installer either, you just drag it to the trash. Hell when you do that, it'll even run from the trash! When you copy Office to the Hard Drive, you get a first run screen, and you have to enter the CD-Key, and it'll install a few things in the system folder (extensions, mostly). Same goes for just about all programs on the Mac.

Gotta hand it to that kid, b*lls of steel. :Q Wouldn't want him in my house though! 😉

Agree, ballsy though.
 
Piracy is a term used too often. Software I can see as piratable.

However, music and movies? Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease. I have a library by my house which lends out all sorts of movies, DVDs, and music. As well as books. I don't see how downloading something, watching it once and then deleting it is piracy. It just seems that they are babies, blaming crappy music and crappy movies which are consistantly coming out on the so-called "pirates" of the world.

40 days and 40 nights will fail on it's own. Pirates will have no part in that.
 
It would without a doubt be easy to do. Last year, my internet was disconnected after I formatted my hard-drive and didn't have the installation program for my internet provider, I have no friends that are computer savy and didn't want to ask them anything computer related, so instead of waiting for my internet provider to send me a new disk I went into CompUSA and popped in a floppy, connected to Netzero and downloaded their program and went home and installed it on my computer, and nobody questioned me at all. I could have taken any files I felt like taking.

Employees did walk past me while I was doing this too, and none of them said a thing to me. They were probably afraid because if I was ignorant enough to do this I guess they wondered what else I was capable of?

There is software that works for windows. Works perfectly.
 
Yeah, he was smart to do this at a CompUSA, where the sales people are pretty much clueless. If he would have done this at... say... an Apple Store, he would have been dragged off my mall security in about 3 minutes.
