Which is the same thing PocketPC and Palm have been doing long before Apple. What's your point?

Eh true. Didn't really want to turn this into a fanboi war...

I think my main point is that its cool that in the last couple years we have finally reached an era of big color touch screens running on snappy processors in a handheld form factor.

The iphone is one of the better examples of that. I have owned SEVERAL Palm and PocketPC based machines before, and none are as smooth of an experience -- they all lag or crash in a manner that has disturbed me.

OK... does this mean that we should be seeing the Apple "iTransporter" and Apple "iWarpdrive" sometime soon? Screw the new Nano... I want one of THOSE for Christmas! :)
