I agree people should stop listening to Feux News, I mean that from CNN, MSNBC and Fox. The only problem is people who keep listening to these talking heads are voting in droves.

Fine. CBS cannot be called news either because of Dan Rather's bullshit and misleading story.

More importantly, it wasn't a false story. It was a story that involved the news staff being faced with a lie from a source they had no reasonable way to detect - but that lie itself not changing the truth of the underlying story. The lie here is the one from the right misrepresenting what the CBS people did.

The same people, by the way, who give a pass to Fox constantly for actual reckless lies.

The people who ignore the fact that the story was confirmed as accurate by the secretary who typed the memo in question, even if the news team was lied to about the history of the document in question so that it might not be the original but a reproduction, among a lot of corroborating evidence - are the ones lying, who attack regardless of the truth.
