I liked the old CNN better. No reason a news website should be using 500mb ram.
Stuff like this is why Opera will always have the fastest browser. They've had the option to disable images, flash, sound for at least a decade. It was handy on 56k connections and is still handy on mobile devices.

Who was still searching for Rebecca Black in 2012? I have a hard time believing she was the #1 search term given that her 15 seconds of fame were in 2011.

Not a surprise most websites had regressed into a disjointed assault on your senses designed to give you seizures and run like garbage even on much faster hardware.

I'm not a pop culture connoisseur but I do kinda know what's goin on with that in a general sense. I have no fucking clue who Rebecca Black is though.
