The Intel(R) Application Accelerator???

I downloaded this program. Does anyone know anything about this program? I haven't run it yet because I don't really know if I need it.

just like it says...it improves performance....i installed it....

EDIT:
i just looked @ your rig...it won't do anything 4 u...it was designed mainly for the P4's chipset...
