With some people paying up to $400 an ounce for dank, and going through an ounce every few days? Yea. I don't know where you are, but here it isn't just overflowing from every street corner. And other drugs, maybe a little toot on the weekends, or an 8 ball a day, whatever, that shit adds up QUICK. Also as Oldgamer pointed out, there are those with habits that they actually physically need, and those habits are not cheap. I'd say the one that's "seriously out of touch, ignorant, and inexperienced" is you.

lol Have you ever done any street drug for any serious amount of time? An ounce of dank every few days? ROFL!!!! Yeah, I'm the ignorant and inexperienced one. Thanks for enlightening me on the virtues of how someone with a middle class job becomes a drug dealer by smoking weed.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHHHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHH

God, you people are dense.

Back on topic, it is a crime what happened to this woman. It is even more of a crime that you morons keep trivializing it by making her decision to sell a little pot the problem. I will leave you with this thought and never come back to this thread filled with people who lack any empathy:

I can't help but laugh at you. Yea, an ounce every few days. Not everyone gets by on your little high school 3 for $5. Manager of a local automotive shop moved about 5lbs a week, I know several people that do H, coke, or pills and their habits are around $50-$150 a day, some deal, some don't, some have arrangements with their friends to throw in. It would be stupid to pay $100 a gram, when you can get 3 G's for $185, sell one and half, or two, and get yours for next to nothing, or free. I hate to break it to you, but your little world isn't the sum of everyone else's, so stop pretending you're some player in the dope game, and that you have a clue, my sides are hurting already.

I beginning to realize why a certain person posts the they do in the forum. I had a friend that acted/talked in similar manner, tis a shame the paranoia pushed him over the edge and his answer to the situation was to take his own life.

Someone who is from another country watching all this going on here in America says: Quote: "I imagine Americans must all live in fear of doing some stupid shit and getting sucked into the privatized prison system. This wouldn't happen in other countries...I'm beginning to wonder if Americans really know what freedom feels like?"

If I were to be detained by police, I'd rather be detained in the U.S. than in other countries, Europe included.

To go back to the start of this thread, the thing that I see here, is why should I feel special sympathy for this person? There are many other cases of wrongful prosecution, wrongful conviction, even wrongful death penalties, throughout this country. This person should be singled out and given extra sympathy because she was a pot-smoker? Because legalizing marijuana is one of the current hot-button progressive causes?

This should be a cause for ANYONE that believes in freedom, not "progressives". Maybe I am remembering wrong, but I thought conservatives were into the whole personal freedom, liberty, small government, personal responsibility thing, the War on Drugs™© is the antithesis of all those.
