I like Ed Norton but I'm just not buying into his role as Bruce Banner. And Liv Tyler? She'll just crap on every scene she's in. Nice to look at but can't act for shit.

Still, the Hulk action scenes should be better than the first movie.

Wait wait wait... This isn't a sequel? WTF?

Nope. It's a reboot after the Ang Lee's Hulk bombed.

Wrong. It is a direct sequel, but goes in a different direction. It does not ignore the existance of the Ang Lee movie

"According to screenwriter Zak Penn, the film continues from Hulk (2003) but will be more similar to "The Incredible Hulk" (1978); he compared the two films to Ridley Scott's Alien (1979) and its sequel, James Cameron's Aliens (1986), which were very different films but still in the same continuity"

Well, that's new to me then. Everything I read about the new Hulk film said "Reboot". Which, to me, means starting over.

That got started early on when Avi Arad (head of Marvel studios) said he felt the franchise needed a fresh start (or something like that) which people interpreted as meaning the new movie was a complete reboot, which its actually not. Its an entirely new cast and crew, but does follow the previous film.

I'm one of the people that actually liked the Ang Lee movie. I get why people hated it though, it wasn't a "hulk smash" movie. Really, there wasn't much hulk smashing at all until near the end, but I thought it was an interesting take on a comic book. This one promises to be more action oriented, which hopefully will be fun too.

It does look a lot more fun than the last one was!

I saw it in the theaters and thought it was real good. It just came out at a bad time when it had mad competition from bigger movies.

I was torn on the movie. I liked it when the story was moving but there were way too many instances where it simply stalled and I found myself to be extremely bored. I don't expect non-stop action but I do expect for the plot to move along. It was a 2 hour and 18 minute movie that felt like it was over 3 hours sitting in the theater.

The escape from the military base was very good IMHO. However, the final fight with his Dad was just a complete cluster.

Nope, I totally agree. It looks very stupid and I sincerely doubt I will see it.

YES! Big city fight with Abomination! Fuck plotlines and character development, THIS is what the first movie should have had.

And if they plan to mask the CGI scenes by making them dark, then phooey on them. Ang Lee put most of the action under the scrutiny of light, a very bold and reputable move. The first movie was great, although I concede that Lee didn't leave much room for continuation...as it was so complete and revealing. This one seems to wanna kick start a franchise by drowning the plot in action. anyway, i'm disappointed that they have approached this as if Lee's creation was a failure and that this new trailer blows chunks.

People who thought the first hulk movie was great: Population 1

Sorry it sucked ass and I'm a huge fan of the hulk

First link doesn't work.

Second link won't play because "Copyright restricts them from playing this video outside the US, even CANADA"

i actually liked Ang Lee's Hulk. This one looks good too. I never read the comics, so I mistook the Abomination for the Hulk since they showed him first. I was like WTF they really changed they way Hulk looks. But it became clear to me that it's a separate character when they show them running toward each other at the end of the trailer.
