Exactly. The Illusionist, while intriguing, was painfully obvious from the start. The Prestige is infinitely more entertaining and has more lasting appeal. I guarantee you will want to watch it more than once.

Saw The Prestige first and was completely disappointed with The Illusionist... I hated the fact that they never explained how he did all those spirit things and stuff... When I watched the ending I was like "oh sure, they explain the part everyone already knew and leave the interesting part out :thumbsdown:"

The Prestige instead, had a wonderful ending that kept you on your seat until the very last scene, plus as everyone said, Tesla was just AWESOME

Yeah nobody would have expected the Prestige to go off the deep end with cloning, especially since the time period of the movie was the 19th century:roll:

Before seeing "The Prestige" you should read up a bit on Tesla and his battle with Edison. Makes Bowie/Tesla much cooler.
Prestige > Illusionist (though I liked both)
