Am I the only one that thought of the Van Halen song upon seeing the topic?😕
I thought of the Martin Sexton cover. 🙂

We have an ice cream man who comes down our street every evening. He stops RIGHT in front of our building and DOESN'T TURN OFF THE ANNOYING F!)(*@#)( MUSIC. I want to throw a TV off our balcony onto his truck, but the fear of injuring a child stops me. That music drives me insane.

I've actually thought about getting me one of those trucks and selling ice cream during the summer. Could be some nice pocket change.

LOL, some of y'all are SICK! 😀 😛

And Heather, we will have to take plenty of pics this weekend. I'll be calling you to finish making our plans in just about an hour!

(Everyone else can just imagine... 😉 )

😀

There's one that roams the neighborhood where my college-house is. The person that owns it lives near the disc golf course, which is in a HORRIBLE part of town. We have a running joke that they really sell cocaine out of the truck.

I wouldn't let any kids of mine get ice cream from that truck.

:music:Say alll my flavors are gauuurranntteeeeeeeeeedddddd.....to satisifyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!!!:music:

(I love that song 😀)

You act like that's special, everyone here has seen her :Q lol

It's all love baby 😛

I remember how exciting it was when the ice cream man came. All the kids in the neighborhood would run excitedly into their house to ask their parents for money. Then we would all gather around the truck and look at the posters of all the neat looking ice cream we could buy and try to decide what to get.

We've got 3 different trucks that drive around here:

Licket Split - which is mainly soft-serve; some of them even sell hot dogs now.
Good Humor - all the over prices Good Humor crap
Ralph's Ices - various flavors of Ralph's; prices are crazy though, if you go to the Ralph's store, you get so much more for less

hzl_eyed_grl I am your father(and Isla is your mother).

The ice cream man around here drives a modified econline van from about 1976. The words are printed on the side with those individual letters you put on a mailbox or something.

I think he sells crack.

Well, maybe you aren't scary looking. I remember getting Nutty Buddies when I was a kid from the icecream man. But the one who drives through here is just freaky!
I think if I had to listen to the same 20 notes of "Turkey in the Straw" or "Mary had a Little Lamb" repeated for 8 hours, I'd become a little 'freaky' myself!

😛

You do have very good point there!

And Heather, yes, we are good to go! We've got a new video camera too. 😛
