The ice bucket challenge is weak.

I've done it. It's been great for generating awareness and raising money for ALS research.

A year ago, the ALS Foundation had only received $20k in donations. This year, they're close to $1.5 million.

Edit - I was incorrect, they're over $10million in donations this year.

well - its all about the donations anyway

Maybe ATOT can come up with a good idea for Pancreatic Cancer awareness

PS I know I never knew anything about it till it hit one of my family members
but there is a cheap test which hopefully if it proves true will be available soon
invented by this young kid in Baltimore a few years ago

This is awesome!

My suggestion has been do the ice challenge and donate $10-20? or just give the $100.

Some ice challenges have been pretty impressive.

The ice bucket challenge showcases the human spirit. "I would rather expose myself to physical pain than try to help someone else." I think the next logical step would be the head slam challenge. When you are going through a shop door and someone is behind you instead of holding the door for them you can opt instead to slam your head against the door before entering and then shut it in their face.
