GKs are my kids favorite. Mine are Blood Angels and Imperial Fists.

Currently only buying these prebuild figures, as my old armies(plus paints, carrying cases) were put to the dumpster the day i got married. :confounded:
Oh man thats painful to read.

Just get a new army and claim you got all these minis at an estate sale for super cheap because someone didnt know what they were and wanted them gone. Use all black or all white priner to really sell it 😉

Got my new work laptop in:

GPD MicroPC 2:

$889 on Amazon:

* 1mm-thick ABS shell
* Windows 11
* 7" 1080p touchscreen with swivel & tilt
* 4-core Intel N300 with UDH GPU, 16GB RAM, 512gb Gen3 NVMe
* 2.5G Ethernet, Wi-Fi 6, BT 5.2
* USB-C power
* 2x USB-A v3, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, MicroSD, 3.5mm Combo Minijack

I keep a 1TB slim USB stick in it: (bootable restore with automatic daily image backup & data transfer, but barely protrudes from the chassis)

Anywhere 2S mouse: (Bluetooth, rechargeable, and works on any surface)

This is a super nice setup for on-prem walkarounds, especially with onboard Ethernet!

My 10 year old has already told me he wants to make things to sell at school.

Reminds me of when I used to sell bootleg cds through highschool.

I'm so proud of him!

Things to sell:

Custom hairbands:

Birdhouses & feeders:

NOTE! You can use a phone to 3D scan their house & make them a custom mini birdhouse!

NOTE! Print in ASA or ABS so that they won't melt outdoors! (needs ventilation while printing due to toxic fumes FYI)

Fidgets!

BONUS! The ROCKTOPUS was VERY popular a few years ago! Now you can use your phone to scan your face & design your own!

(I have a 12" Rocktopus sitting on the ledge to my split-entry hahaha)

I was going to do a raid 5 with 3 drives and keep one as spare but decided to YOLO it and use all 4. Rebuild should be done by tomorrow morning. Seeing a single volume that is 22TB is pretty skookum! That brings me to 62TB total between 4 volumes. I still have 5 slots left in my NAS for future upgrades. Going to move less critical stuff to this array until I feel I can trust it.

Code:
md4 : active raid5 sdt[4] sds[2] sdr[1] sdq[0]
      23441685504 blocks super 1.2 level 5, 512k chunk, algorithm 2 [4/3] [UUU_]
