Kinda an impulse purchase. Lot of 4 used 8TB Seagate Exos 7E8 hard drives for $322.05 total off Ebay.

I don't think prices are coming down any time soon and space usage on my NAS is kind of tight so decided I'll add another raid array and move some stuff around. I'll probably go raid 5 and move VMs that performance matters less.

I've bought used drives before and it was always a bit hit and miss so hopefully at least 3 of these are good as I will start with 3 then have a spare if I get a premature failure. If all goes well I'll grow the array later on.

I foresee an acid bath in your future. Unless you are going to roast it.
The one mistake I made when buying this house is not accounting for the possibility that I might have hobbies that require a big yard. I have an acre and a half of property, but it's all dense woods on steep hill. Great for walking around, not great for alkali metal distillation. I could do it in my driveway, but my neighbors are... touchy.

Need to buy an old motorhome and you can setup a lab in there.

A Sony Inzone gaming mouse. Sony gets into the mouse game and drops a 48g gaming mouse in a very nice shape with solid specs. It's very similar in shape to the Lamzu Maya X, my favorite gaming mouse, but with the hump slightly further back. Which I like, because I also love the Pulsar TenZ design.

Funnily enough I prefer mice sub 50g. I never really cared as long as they were sub 60g but then I got the Razer Viper V3 Pro, and the shape is fantastic, but at 54g the extra weight is noticeable vs the Lamzu Maya X at 48g. When you think about it it's over 10% lighter, and going back and forth between the Viper V3 and the Maya X, the lighter Maya X weight is noticeably better.

Gotta keep up with the 16 year old korean gaming kiddies that have that aim.

A chainsaw, a shovel, and some material for a retaining wall can get you a flat spot.

Yeah, I need to get a patio in the back so I can actually get to the back yard. There's an area you can make out here that would work, I've been hoping that the price to build a decent deck would come down, but that's a pipe dream at this point. I need to see if I need a permit to put steps back there.

Planters are good for burying bodies once you have saturated the ground.
