I was on the fence about getting one of these for a while, but just drilling the test hole has me completely sold. Need to do some fine adjustments to get it completely level, but I'm really happy. Only problem is that it's very tall and so is my table. I'm 6'3" and I build my tables to be comfortable for my height. The center of the chuck is at about eye level, so if this thing fails and flies apart, I'll never even know... :p

Drill presses are fantastic. Aside from chainsaws, I use almost 100% manual tools, but I like having a drill press available when I need one.

Yeah, this will be a huge quality of life improvement, especially when it comes to aluminum. I don't love the clamp system, but that seems easy enough to replace.

After about 6 years, I think my amp bit the bullet. Got power going to it, but it's not pushing any audio to my speakers. Ended up buying another one:

It's a 400w exact replacement.
