There's nothing wrong with a good blend, and JW definitely makes a good blend. I'd rather have JW Black than Glenlivet. A blend's only sin is it's consistent. Every bottle will be the same as the next. You don't get as much variation as you do with single malt, though even those tend towards sameness. They're blends of malts to achieve a consistent end goal. Blended whisky does it a bit cheaper.

My nephew is getting married in two weeks so I had to go to Men's Wearhouse today and buy a new suit, vest, pants, shirt, and tie. Now I need to get it pressed before the wedding. This is the first suit I've purchased in close to twenty-five years and it was from Pennies. This one looks a lot nicer.
